Coaching in Company Secretaryship

IEG offers IT training

Sep 18, 2006: Sept 20, Hyderabad:

Institute of Electronic Governance (IEG) of Andhra Pradesh government is offering training in IT to eligible graduates and post graduates. It will collect Rs. 10,000 fee to offer a two-month training in IT at JNTU campus in Masab Tank. Interested candidates can apply till September 25. The trainees will be retained by IEG as IT associates , if they failed to get selected by various IT companies.

IGNOU Admissions

Sep 20, 2006: Sept 20, Hyderabad:

IGNOU is offering need-based learning programme in Optometry and Ophthalmic Techniques developed in coordination with Federation of Ophthalmic Research and Education Centres. The last date for admissions into this course is October 5.The training will impart competency in providing services as an optician, optometrist, and ophthalmic assistant in urban and semi-urban areas.

Concordia University calling

Sep 25, 2006: September 25, Hyderabad:

US based Concordia University is offering graduation and post graduation courses barring eligibility of GRE, GMAT, TOEFL and SAT.Qualified candidates with 50 % at 10+2 level and degree are eligible respectively for pursuing graduation and post graduation courses.

The university has the strength of 5,400 students including 234 foreigners. Out of 100 odd students from India, about 90 are from Hyderabad. It offers courses in Writing,Communications, Literature, History, Maths, Sciences, Philosophy, Social Sciences etc., at under graduate level. While professional courses include Education, Business, Nursing, Environmental Sciences, etc.,

GATE on Feb 11

Applications are invited for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE-2006-07) to be conducted on February 11 in select centres across the country. Qualified GATE candidates are eligible for admission to the master's degree courses in Engineering/Technology/Architecture/Pharmacy/Science and avail of scholarship and assistantship. The candidates with any of the following qualifications are eligible to appear for GATE both on line and off line.

Eligible candidates should be graduates in Engineering/Technology/Architecture/ Pharmacy or those in final/ pre-final year and post graduates in any of the following streams - Science/ Mathematics/ Statistics/ Computer Applications or equivalent and those who are in the final or pre final year of such programmes.

Other eligible candidates include those who are in the second or higher year of the four-year integrated post graduate programme, (post-B.Sc.,) in Engineering/Technology or in the third or higher year of five year integrated post graduate programme and dual degree programmes in Engineering/ Technology, 'AMIE equivalent to B.E/B/Tech as recognized by UPSC/AICTE.

FEE: General category candidates have to pay Rs 900/ for on line and Rs. 1000 off line and SC/ST candidates have to pay Rs 400 and Rs. 500 for the same.

JRF test on December 24

Sep 25, 2006: September 25, Hyderabad:

National Eligibility Test (NET) for Junior Research Fellowship and eligibility for lecturer -ship into colleges, universities will be held on December 24.Eligible candidates can go in for either both or any one of JRF and lecturership will have to appear for chemical sciences, earth, atmospheric, ocean and planetary sciences, life sciences, mathematical sciences and physical sciences.

Post Graduates with 55 % and SC/ST 50 % marks are eligible for this national level test being conducted by CSIR-UGC. General students have to pay Rs.400, OBC Rs. 200 and SC/ST/PHC Rs. 100 respectively through applications obtained from the branches of Syndicate Bank.Five years relaxation is given for SC/ST candidates, and the age limit for general candidates is 28 years.

MCA re-registration

Sep 25, 2006: September 25, Hyderabad:

All the MCA enrolled students of IGNOU for 2005 should re-register for third year commencing January next year. Requisite forms have to be submitted till October 1. And those who have completed BCA or PG diploma incomputer applications are need not to re register into MCA third year.
