Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) invites applications for its academic programmes in different disciplines at various levels. The programmes on offer for January, 2007 session are:
PG Level: MCA, MA (Distance Education), MBA (Banking & Finance)
Bachelor's Level: BCA, BSc (Nursing), BTech (Civil Engineering), BTech (Mechanical Engineering)
Bachelor's Preparatory: A six months course leading to a study of Bachelor's Degree (to enable students without 10+2 qualification to pursue BA, BCom, BTS and BSW)
PG Diploma Level: Library Automation and Networking: Translation, Journalism & Mass Communication, Audio Programme Production, Radio Prasaran, Maternal and Child Health, Geriatric Medicine, Hospital and Health Management, Community Cardiology, Distance Education, Higher Education, Disaster Management, Intellectual Property Rights, Environment and Sustainable Development.
Diploma Level: Creative Writing in English, Nursing Administration, Early Childhood Care for Education, Nutrition and Health Education, HIV & Family Education, Tourism Studies, Youth in Development Work, Women Empowerment and Development, Aqua Culture, Value Added Products from Fruits & Vegetables.
PG Certificate Level: Copy Editing & Proof Reading, Participatory Management of Displacement, Resettlement and Rehabilitation, Health Care Waste Management.
Certificate Level: Computing, ICT Applications in Library, HIV & Family Education, Mutrition and Child Care, Food and Nutrition, Food Safety, Competency Enhancement for ANM/FHW, Rural Development, Guidance, Teaching of English, Tourism Studies, Empowering Women through SHGs. Women's Empowerment and Development, Youth in Development Work, Disaster Management, Environmental Studies, Participatory Forest Management, Labour Development, Human Rights, Consumer Protection, Laboratory Techniques, and Appreciations Course on Environment.
Application Form: Prospectus-cum-Student Handbook comprising application form is available for all the above programmes at the Regional Centre, Himayatnagar, Hyderabad and at the Study Centres of IGNOU located at Nellore (VR College), Vijayawada (KBN College), Guntur (TJPS College), Warangal (LB College), Anantapur (SSBN College), Kurnool (Osmania College), Visakhapatnam (Dr L Bullayya College), Kakinada (Ideal College), Khammam (Kavita Memorial Degree College), Karimnagar (Vivekananda Degree & PG College).

Demand Draft should be in favour of IGNOU, Hyderabad (if forms are required by post). The filled in applications should be sent only to IGNOU Regional Centre, Himayathnagar, Hyderabad.
