Katuri Medical College & Hospital is a most modern Educational Institution Promoted by Vignan Educational Foundation, Bangalore, a registered Trust which has established several prestigious Professional Colleges offering undergraduate and postgraduate degrees. For the current academic year it has been permitted by Government of India to establish a medical College at Guntur Vide their letter No. U. 12012/79/2001-ME (P). The Katuri Medical College is situated at the 14th & 15th Kilometer on Guntur-Madras National High Way near the Village Chinnakondrupadu. The College and Hospital has a built up area of about 5 million Sq. ft is in 30 acres lawn with State of the art facilities. Fully furnished labs for all Pre-clinical and Para-clinical departments are available in the College supported by well qualified and experienced faculty. Centrally Air conditioned Library hall with Multimedia system. Video conferencing and other curriculum related facilities are available. At present a 500 bedded hospital is fully functional with all Clinical departments, latest imported Medical Equipments with wide variety of technology and learning and staffed by eminent Clinical Staff.
Eligibility: Pass in English and 50% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology taken together in the qualifying examination of PUC/HSE (Academic) or any other equivalent examination.
Age Limit: 17 years of Age as on 31/12/2002.
Duration of Course: 4 ½ years and one year Internship
