The Indian Institute of Fire Engineering, Nagpur is the only Govt. Recognised Institute in India for Advance Diploma Course in Fire where pupils can train themselves into Excellent Fire Engineers to enable them to get jobs in Govt./Semi Govt./Private Organisations. Also open jobs opportunities abroad in OPEC/Gulf Countries.
Following One Year Govt. Recognised courses are conducted by Indian Institute of Fire Engineering:
1. Advance Diploma in Fire Engineering.
2. Post Diploma in Fire Engineering.
Eligibility: Diploma in Engg. Or Technology of MSBTE or its equivalent or Degree in Engg. or Technology or Science Graduate or any graduate with 2 years experience in Fire Field with minimum 40% marks.
3. Advance Diploma in Industrial Safety.
Eligibility: Degree or Diploma in Engineering or B.Sc. with Chemistry or Physics with Two years experience.
Above recognised courses commence at Academic Session i.e. June (2003-2004).
In addition to above courses we also conduct the following courses in January & June of every year.
4. One year Diploma in Fire Safety Engineering.
Eligibility: 12th or I.T.I.
5. Six Month Certificate in Fire Safety Engineering.
Eligibility: 10th & Above.
6. Six Month Certificate in Industrial Security Course.
Eligibility: 1oth or Equivalent.
Physical Standard: Height-165 cm, Weight-50 kg, Chest-81 cm (normal), Chest-86.5 cm (expanded), No colour blindness, No physical deformaities.
Prospectus: Send D.D. of Rs.150/- for above courses in favour of Director, I.I.F.E. payable at Nagpur.
